Did You Say God is in Control?

Did you say God is in control? Are you sure about that? Certainly one day He will be in complete control but is He now?

Is Gods will always done on earth? NO! If it was He would not have told us to pray for His will to be done. Does God will us to sin? Of course not. He is pleased when we do not sin. Did you know God says it is His will for all men to repent?

¶ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 11 Peter 3:9

Do all men repent? Of course not. Most do not. Heaven is the narrow gate, Hell is the broad gate that most men take.

Yes God is in control of Prophecy. He will return to judge the earth. We must put “God is in control”  in proper perspective. Compare scripture with scripture. Rightly divide Gods word.

God is in control of much. He is in control of judgment, of chastisement, of making sure the gates of Hell does not prevail against His church. False churches may rise but true Bible believing churches always exist. God is in control of answering our prayers as He sees fit. That is why when we pray we should never neglect to tell Him that it is His will we desire. Not only that but we should be satisfied with His will.

Sure God is in control but not to the point that God is responsible for us sinning against Him. Sometimes a little common sense goes a long way. More later as I recall…….
