No one can say they have a Bible without error unless they can point to and name an actual Bible and say it has no errors and is perfect in every way. Just do not say you have Gods perfect word unless you clarify it by pointing to an actual Bible.
You may take the position that the Bible was only error free in the original autographs but I do hope you realize the originals are long gone and the best we have is copies of copies. We have no direct copies of the originals.
You may say you have the modern translations but along with that you say that none of these are without error. That being the case you are not sure which words are correct and which are not. If you say, you know which words are correct and which words are not then you should publish a perfect Bible.
You may say that it is Gods thoughts that are most important but you will not find Scripture to back up this claim any where in Any Bible. When the Bible talks about Scripture it is always talking about the word of God not just the thoughts of God.
If we pick and choose what we believe is Gods word we make a folly of Gods word.
The claim that the King James Bible is too difficult to understands contradicts what the Bible says is the real problem. The Bible makes it clear that unless a person is born again the understanding of Gods word is next to impossible to any great extent.
The Bible does make it plain that Gods word has been preserved and we do have it today. Psalm 12: 6-7 6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. With this we know that Gods word does exist on earth even today and we must decide where it is at. Who does it say will keep and preserve the word of God. Not us but God as promised to preserve His word.
Here are the facts:
No one has ever found a proven error in the King James Bible. Not one, nowhere can anyone show the smallest error in Gods book the King James Bible. This fact is certainly not true concerning all the other modern translations. More later as I recall…….
