Is there a big difference in Catholic beliefs compared to what the Bible teaches? YES! Not only is there a huge difference but anyone who believes Catholic theology CAN NOT be a Bible believer. The ONLY possible way to make such a claim is to twist, turn and spin what the Bible actually says. If you have an open mind then take a look:
Though there are thousands these verses sums it up well:
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10
No one can SAVE themselves. Christ does ALL the SAVING or you are NOT Saved. The church CAN NOT SAVE. Only Christ. The church did NOT die for our sins but Christ did.
God speaks in the Bible. The Bible warns us not to add to or take away from what God says.
What God says in His Bible is not only enough but anything contrary to His Bible is wrong. More later as I recall…….
